And Hungary was better too, Iceland got a so so dubious penalty, and Austria missed a pen against them. They ground it out, but to me it was more the case of England historically bottling it. Albania for example was better than Iceland, but unlucky. 
So they were due for a whupping by a big team. In my opinion.
